With twenty years of experience she has won several awards in hairstyling and business, including voted "Best Salon" in Metro's Reader's Poll 1993, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000, Her expertise is in creating the perfect style for one's face shape, lifestyle and hair. She created Nirvana in 1985 when she discovered the severe lack of soul in the hairdressing industry. She integrated the use of aromatherapy and massage into the salon experience to help calm and relax the senses. Nirvana has been opened since 1991 and continues to be a salon ahead of its time.
